- Y takes the first handoff and carries the ball left-to-right through the second mesh.
- Z comes behind the action, receives the reverse handoff, and attacks the right edge while X and C clear the deep and intermediate right windows.

- : 10-yard post inside — plant hard at the break, separate from the safety.
- : 5-yard quick out to the sideline — speed out — no break-down, snap to the sideline.
- : take the handoff, press the LOS, and read the playside LB — if he scrapes, cut back; if he fills, bounce.
