Your money play when you need yards in a hurry. The trips alignment stretches the defense horizontally, then the vertical stack attacks the deep middle/corner. The single-high safety must choose: help on the post or rally to the corner.

Primary reads

• 1st read (): Skinny post at 13.5 yards — the void read. If safety cheats middle, has a free lane.
• 2nd read (): Fade to corner — if corner sits on the post, 's outside leverage wins
• 3rd read (@Z2): Vertical backup — isolated corner on the backside; if oversteps, take the go

Situational use

• 3rd & long: penetrates safeties' leverage, requires vertical throw
• Red zone: attack corners of the field, force difficult decisions
• Two-minute drill: downfield shot when you need chunk plays

Coverage matchups

• vs Cover 1 (man): slips the defender, post is open; backside has space
• vs Cover 3 (single-high): safety split decision — 's inside lane or 's corner? Usually one is free
